GLITTER KITTENS

The Glitter Kittens show is flexible in content and amount of girls/looks with currently 8 individual and professional young ladies currently performing in GK shows. We do performances as a solo act, duet or larger scale shows that can be tailored to suit the event ranging from a more traditional show to the most popular set we have - a half an hour rock cabaret show (a fully choreographed dance show that is performed to modern and popular rock/pop music). We can also do a Moulin Rouge style show if that suits the event but we have made a sort of niche in the Burlesque world with our full length rock shows that go down very well in all sorts of environments as we have performed at important dinners, to heavy rock nights, student graduation parties to music festivals and theatres. As well as performing with the troupe Zelda also performs solo as a burlesque performer/dancer/actor.

We take the show very seriously and have worked very hard to build a good reputation and top quality show to entertain all sorts of audiences rather than aiming at a burlesque loving crowd. Indeed a lot of venues/audiences have never heard of burlesque before we perform but we manage to send them away converted. Aside of this we also support bands and appear onstage with them and in music videos - both upcoming acts and established bands including Reverand and the Makers, Gilby Clarke of Guns n Roses a tour with Eddie Ojeda of Twisted Sister and a tour alongside Toyah Wilcox in the theatre show Vampires Rock.

Vmanevents have worked with the Glitter Kittens on a number of different events over the past 2.5 years. The Glitter Kitten have played a number of different kinds of shows for Vmanevents ranging from support slots with the Reverend and the Makers, mini slots one different stages during the MAPS Festival and unsigned showcase nights at Dry Bar, Road House and Ruby Lounge. They always work in a professional manner and they always attract a good crowd to their shows.
